Colorado Armwrestling Rankings

Presented by Rocky Mountain Armwrestling League

The Colorado Armwrestling Rankings are designed to recognize active competitors based on tournament performance, ranked matches, and approved super matches.

These rankings are built to help grow competitive arm wrestling throughout Colorado and give athletes a clear path to climb the ranks.

Ranking Requirements

To be ranked, an athlete must:

  • Compete in an approved RMAL tournament, ranked match, or super match

  • Compete at the listed weight class

  • Be active within the Colorado arm wrestling scene

  • Show good sportsmanship at events

  • Follow the official RMAL competition rules

Colorado State Ranking Criteria

  • The Rocky Mountain Armwrestling League (RMAL) Colorado State Rankings are intended exclusively to rank arm wrestlers competing within the state of Colorado.

  • All Colorado State rankings are determined exclusively by results from approved super matches and designated ranking tournaments, including round-robin and other approved tournament formats held within Colorado or otherwise recognized by RMAL for Colorado rankings.

  • These rankings are designed to recognize and promote Colorado athletes and to accurately reflect the current competitive landscape within the state.

  • RMAL reserves the right to review, adjust, and update the Colorado State Rankings following each sanctioned event to ensure they remain fair, accurate, and representative of current competitive performance.

Ranked Matches

Ranked matches must be approved before the event.

All ranked matches will follow the RMAL rule set and must be officiated by an approved referee.

Super Matches

Approved super matches may count toward rankings if both athletes agree before the match and the match is officially recorded.

Ranking Updates

Rankings will be updated after major RMAL events, approved super matches, and ranked matches.

RMAL reserves the right to adjust rankings based on inactivity, missed weight, rule violations, or unsportsmanlike conduct.

SUPER MATCH CALL OUT RULES

  • Pre-planning: All match details—specifically the location, date, and weight class—must be confirmed prior to the official callout.

    • Note: Definitive dates and locations will be determined by future tournament schedules.

  • The Post: You must post your challenge on the Official RMAL Facebook page.

  • Required Tags: To be valid, your post must tag:

  • Response Window: The challenged party has 2 weeks to respond. Failure to respond within this window will result in the immediate forfeiture of their rank to the challenger.

  • Valid Response Methods:

    • Commenting on the original Facebook post.

    • Starting a group message including the challenger, Cire Brown, and Matthew Baker.

  • Agreement: Both parties must formally agree to all match details.

  • Denials: If the challenged party denies the callout, they automatically relinquish their rank to the challenger.

Match Day & Emergencies

  • Weight Requirements: All participating athletes must successfully make weight on the day of the match.

  • Rescheduling: Once match details are finalized, no rescheduling is permitted unless agreed upon by all involved parties.
